Steffes Group is a nationally respected auction firm known for executing high-value estate and equipment sales with precision, integrity, and market expertise. When they were commissioned to manage a prestigious classic car auction for The Classic Car Collection Museum (now The American Automobile Experience) in Kearney, Nebraska, the expectations were high — and the timeline, extremely tight.


To meet those demands, Steffes Group turned to Luxe Professional Automotive for a monumental task:
Photograph, document, and deliver auction-ready catalogs for 143 classic vehicles — in just three 10-hour days.

The Challenge – 143 Classics, 3 Days, Zero Room for Error

The project was as ambitious as it was complex:

  • Vehicles ranged from the late 1800s to the mid-1970s
  • All 143 cars had to be photographed in detail for online auction listing use
  • The shoot was confined to the museum floor — no reshoots or revisits possible
  • Final photos had to support online-only bidding, with no in-person inspections
  • Steffes required full auction listing readiness with zero arbitrations

The collaboration between both teams ensured that every logistical detail, creative standard, and personnel assignment was aligned long before the first photo was taken.
